AC/DC‘s frontman Brian Johnson may have rocked out too hard… if there is such a thing when you’re in AC/DC anyway. Doctors have ordered Brian to stop touring to avoid “total hearing loss.”
My question is this – can his hearing really be saved/spared by refraining from touring? Let’s be honest, the guy is 68 years old. He’s toured/dealt with loud music for the majority of his life. Perhaps what’s done is done?
However, Brian seems to be heeding the warning from doctors. According to their website, AC/DC has postponed their last 10 dates on the US leg of their current tour.
This is the best medical move for Brian, and I support it. Although, I imagine he’ll miss playing live. This leaves fans to ask – will Brian ever play live again? What do you think of his decision?
